I'm not as optimistic, Tesla stock is still very high, losing 50% and still much higher than the year low. DOGE still has unchecked power, any agency which investigates Tesla or any of Musk's org might be next on DOGE chopping block. Next month, there might not be a Tranportation Department to investigate Tesla's safety record, there might not be SEC (currently being extremely weak) to investigate Musk's manipulation.

Totally valid concerns. While Tesla’s valuation is still high, I think the bigger issue — as you mentioned — is the unchecked influence Musk holds across multiple industries. The overlap between his companies, crypto influence, and regulatory gaps is worrying. It feels like we’re watching the rise of a private empire with very little accountability. Appreciate you calling that out — definitely something worth digging into more.

Great piece. As an African, I’d love to hear you elaborate on the Congo connection. It’s not spoken about enough, and honestly, I don’t know enough about Tesla’s direct involvement. Thanks.

I'm so glad you liked it! I agree, we need to be calling out companies who exploit developing nations for cheap, unsafe labour.

"Tesla was worth approximately 50% of the global automotive industry. " It wasn't 'worth' that. It was valued at that be people who gamble with other people's money.

Even allowing for their extortionate price there is no way Tesla's are anywhere near half the cars purchased in the world.

Looked at it realistically the stock of grossly over-priced and over-hyped. And the thing ab out bubbles is, once the burst they don't self-inflate.

Still if anyone wants to buy a rare old tulip bulb .....
